The most common pallet racking found in
warehouses, allows access to all pallets and
maximises space. This type of pallet racking
is available in single and double entry
configurations and is easily adjustable.
The Selective Pallet racking System provides
efficient use of storage space for palletized loads.
With the wide range of options and components
available, selective pallet racking systems can be
tailor-made to meet your precise needs.
Selective pallet racking provides efficient
pallet storage, is compatible with all types
and sizes of pallets, and uses any type of
handling equipment.
Selective Pallet Racking System Benefits:
Direct access to all stored pallets
The advantage of handling one pallet without the need to move others
Easy stock control as each place is one pallet position
Absolute load storage flexibility, in terms of weight and volume
100% selectivity and accessibility of goods
Floor Area Utilisation: 30% (Low)
Double Deep Pallet Racking
This configuration of Selective Pallet Racking is great for utilizing floor space, especially for
moderate stock levels. Double deep racking
is created by placing two double entry runs
together. Pallets are stored two deep and are
accessed using special trucks with pantograph
of telescopic forks.
Double Deep Pallet Racking Benefits:
Greater use of floor space by reducing the number of access aisles
Increased storage capacity
Not suitable for rapid stock rotation, the first pallet in is the last pallet out
50% selectivity and accessibility of goods
Floor Area Utilisation: 50% (High)
Very Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking
Narrow aisle consists of the same basic components as conventional racking, but with runs placed closer together eliminating the wasted space of a wide aisle. The pallets can be stored at a greater height to maximize all available cubic space. The pallets are accessed via specialist trucks, which are guided in the very narrow aisles by either low or high profile floor mounted rails or electronic wire guidance in the floor.
Very Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking Benefits :
Configuration for maximum storage, density and efficency
Specialist narrow aisle fork-lift trucks are required to work in the reduced aisle
Better space utilization
Good occupancy rates
100% selectivity and accessibility of goods
Floor Area Utilisation: 50% (High)
